Sandvine Awarded $21M Order From Tier 1 Middle Eastern Operator

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 20, 2019 — Sandvine, a leading provider of Network Intelligence solutions, announced that it has been awarded a $21M expansion order from a Tier 1 Middle Eastern, converged network operator. The operator has seen significant value from their current Sandvine portfolio and this expansion will generate quick return on investment with the multiple use cases that will be deployed. The customer will also deploy Sandvine’s suite of automation use cases in the near future. This order was received in the first quarter of 2019.

“Network operators are driving toward automation to improve the economics and return on investment in their network infrastructure,” said Lyn Cantor, President and CEO of Sandvine. “Sandvine’s portfolio of use cases enable operators to achieve targeted outcomes faster without requiring the lengthy and complicated cycles associated with multi-vendor deployments.”

The operator will use the expansion to deploy foundational Sandvine use cases as they prepare for network automation in the Analytics, Network Optimization, and Revenue Assurance solution areas. These use cases will improve the operator’s ability to deliver a high quality of experience and differentiated offerings to their users, while optimizing the performance of the network and preventing fraud. They will leverage the capabilities of Sandvine’s newly introduced Active Network Intelligence (ANI) Portal, demonstrating improvements in their overall network economics.

This future-proof platform, with the ability to host multiple solution areas and use cases, was the key differentiator that led the operator to select Sandvine. As network operators are fighting to change their economic model, Sandvine enables them to deliver high quality services to their customers while generating revenue and minimizing CAPEX and OPEX through our ANI solutions.
