Thurston, who has been advising rMark Bio since its inception four years ago, will leverage her experience in delivering products for global brands such as adidas, AT&T and Allstate as she forges rMark Bio’s product-first methodology.
“It’s an exciting time to be part of such a visionary company. rMark Bio is leading the way in helping life sciences companies solve challenging problems by capitalizing on machine learning and AI insights,” said Thurston. “This is a fascinating area of digital transformation. Being part of rMark Bio’s team gives me the opportunity to build products that facilitate in ultimately improving lives. It’s purposeful work.”
“I’ve known and worked with Annette for more than five years and have always been impressed with her insight and vision,” said Jason M. Smith, rMark Bio co-founder and CEO. “I’m confident that she’ll accelerate rMark Bio’s product development and thought leadership. She has an uncanny ability to look at the marketplace, perceive where the needs are and drive creation of products that solve problems. That’s invaluable.”
Thurston practices less is more when it comes to products. Noting that technology should make our lives easier, not more complicated, she is focused on building solutions that integrate harmoniously with existing technologies to reduce digital noise and improve how people work and live.
Prior to joining rMark Bio, Thurston led consumer products at Arity, a connected car company subsidiary of Allstate.
