SkillPath Executives Selected as Members of Forbes Councils

MISSION, Kan., March 27, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — SkillPath, a leader in personal and professional learning and development, announces that Cameron Bishop, CEO and President; Greg Furstner, Senior Vice President of Human Resources; Michele Markey, Vice President of Training Operations; and Kara Cowie, Vice President of Corporate Communications, have been accepted onto the Forbes Councils, an invitation-only community for executives across all industries.

Bishop, Furstner and Markey were hand-selected to be part of the Forbes Human Resources Council, while Cowie was chosen for the Forbes Communications Council. With this invitation, these executives have been granted the opportunity to submit thought leadership articles and tips on industry-related topics for publication on Forbes.com. To date, SkillPath executives have been featured in more than 30 articles on Forbes.com.

Bishop has approached the opportunity by writing articles focused on corporate leadership and learning and development trends. His article, “Seven Learning and Development Trends to Adopt in 2019,” has received nearly 54,000 views.

Markey’s articles have focused on career advice for managers, with topics including emotional intelligence and communication strategies for multigenerational teams.

On the Forbes Communications Council, Cowie provides content for companies to improve their internal communication and avoid social media pitfalls.

Furstner is a new addition to the council and will have articles coming soon.

“The unique opportunity for SkillPath to be aligned with Forbes helps us further our mission of providing innovative learning and development training solutions to business professionals around the world,” Bishop said.

Scott Gerber, Founder of Forbes Councils, says, “We are honored to welcome Cam, Michele, Kara and Greg into the community. Our mission with Forbes Councils is to curate successful professionals from every industry, creating a vetted, social capital-driven network that helps every member make an even greater impact on the business world.”
