CHARLOTTE, Mich., March 12, 2019 — Spartan Specialty Vehicles, a business unit of Spartan Motors, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPAR) (“Spartan” or the “Company”)—a global leader in specialty chassis and vehicle design, manufacturing, and assembly—will showcase its latest K3 605 chassis at industry tradeshow RVX: The RV Experience, taking place at the Salt Palace Convention Center from March 12-14 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Displayed in the booth is Spartan’s K3 605 chassis, which is riding under the 2020 Entegra Coach’s Cornerstone luxury motorhome.
Spartan’s K3 605 Class A diesel chassis is easier to drive and more maneuverable, to deliver a more enjoyable ride to owners. In addition, the chassis features Spartan’s Advanced Protection System® (APS), an advanced driver assistance and integrated collision mitigation system that helps drivers avoid accidents, and provides proactive alerts when attention is critical.
“We constantly analyze the feedback we receive from customers on our chassis systems, from our 24/7/365 support and network of hundreds of North American Authorized Service Centers,” said Steve Guillaume, President of Spartan Specialty Vehicles. “The superior driving performance available in the K3 605 chassis allows our customers to drive those long winding roads, turn tight corners, and easily move through and park in tight campground spaces. Spartan is proud to offer this chassis with our award-winning Connected Coach™ technology, which features an easy to read and navigate digital dash instrument panel and display.”
Spartan’s Connected Coach digital display system combines a clear, intuitive user interface, complete with custom coach information like auto leveling, tire pressure monitoring, and Spartan APS integration. It provides the added convenience of keyless entry and push-button start technology. This unique market offering was inspired by the design of luxury SUV digital dashboards.
In addition to hands-on technical demonstrations of Spartan Connected Coach, Spartan representatives will be assisting dealer sales professionals in signing up for Spartan Reward$, the program that pays for each coach sold, riding on a Spartan chassis. Representatives will also be available to provide dealers and service centers the opportunity to join Spartan’s network of Authorized Service Centers.
Billed as a first-of-its-kind, dealer-focused market development show to promote the RV industry and its products; the new RVX show, scheduled for March 12-14 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, replaces the former RVIA National RV Trade Show that had taken place annually in Louisville, Kentucky, since the early 1960s.
